BioSomerville's Affordable Housing Organizing Committee is dedicated to organizing and supporting policies to create new affordable housing and preserve existing affordable housing. We are also committed to fighting gentrification and the displacement of working-class residents from the City.
AHOC is a volunteer-led organization. The Somerville Development Corp. (SCC) provides staff support. Three other local agencies provide ongoing staff support as well: Cambridge and Somerville Legal Services (CASLS), Community Action Agency of Somerville (CAAS), and the Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC).
